What is ParentSquare?

Centennial School District will use ParentSquare for District and school communication. Families are encouraged to access their ParentSquare accounts by downloading the ParentSquare mobile app and updating their preferences on when and how they receive information from their students' respective schools.

Centennial School District uses the contact information available in ParentVue for students' accounts and is populated for each parent/guardian. Please review your contact information on Synergy to get critical, urgent, and emergency communications.

 

What you can do with ParentSquare?

  • Receive messages from the school via email, text, or mobile app notification
  • Choose to receive information instantly when it’s sent out or all at once in one message at 6 pm daily
  • Communicate in your preferred language
  • Direct message teachers and staff 
  • Participate in group messages
  • Sign forms & permissions slips, sign up to volunteer, and more, all from your phone or web portal

FAQs and Resources

  • A ParentSquare account is automatically created for each parent based on the email address and primary phone number you gave your school office during registration. If you do not remember the email address you used, please contact your school office, and they can provide it.  It only takes a few minutes to register.

    How to Register:

    Visit the ParentSquare Sign In Page 

    Under Register, enter Email or Cell Phone Number. You must use the same email/phone you provided to your school during registration. (If you do not remember the email address you used, please contact your school office, and they can provide it.) 

    Click Get Started.

    Have questions or need assistance? Contact your child’s school.

    • Please check your spam folder after confirming that your email address is correct. ParentSquare emails will arrive from donotreply@parentsquare.com. Mark the emails as "Not Spam" or add the address to your contacts.
    • Web browser: On your home page, click your name and select "My Account." Then, select "Language Setting.”
    • Mobile app: From your home screen, click the triple bar in the top left corner. Click on "Account," then "Preferences," then "Language Settings."

    Step-by-Step instructions on how to update your language preferences can be found here in English, Russian, and Spanish.

    • You can call the school office and ask for your contact information to be updated. After the school updates the information, the new contact details will be in ParentSquare the next day.
    • You can choose between "instant" and "digest" notifications or choose to turn off notifications altogether (excluding emergency alerts and notices). The "instant" setting will send all post notifications in real-time. The “digest” setting instantly sends direct messages, alerts, and time-sensitive posts. Still, it sends non-time-sensitive posts at the end of the day, reducing your daily notifications. (We recommend the “digest” setting”.)
    • Change your settings:
    • From a web browser: On your home page, click your name and select "My Account." Then, select "Customize your settings" under Notification Settings.
    • From a mobile app: Click the triple bar in the top left corner of your home screen. Click on "Account," then "Preferences," then "Notification Settings."
